Not surprisingly a few STAR Artists made the annual Forbes’ Celebrity 100 List which ranks stars based on their earning power. Justin Timberlake grabbed the number 12 spot. Madonna’s at number 21. Bon Jovi’s at number 53 with Gwen Stefani at 63 and Alicia Keys a few spots back at number 65. Who’s number one? Who do you think? Oprah Winfrey tops the list for the second year in a row and for the fifth time in her career. Why? Because she raked in $275 million in the last year. Forbes' bases the rankings on things like earnings, web hits, number of magazine cover appearances, etc. Here's the full Top 10:
1. Oprah Winfrey, $275 million
2. Tiger Woods, $115 million
3. Angelina Jolie, $14 million

In the weeks leading up to his American Idol win, STAR Artist David Cook maintained that he wanted to win the competition because if he didn't want to, it would be unfair to all those people who voted for him. But in the new issue of Rolling Stone, David says, "I was never in it to win it, and that took some pressure off me. If I'd gotten caught up in all that, I would've had a coronary." However, David refused to bash Idol to Rolling Stone, saying the only things he wasn't thrilled about were the group numbers and that stupid matador outfit he had to wear in the Ford commercial.

Grey’s Anatomy star Kathering Heigl has decided to withdraw her name from consideration for an Emmy Award nomination this year, while seemingly taking a veiled swipe at her own show. She said in a statement, "I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention. In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials." Way to bite the hand that feeds, Katherine. We'll see how you feel when the writers push to kill you off the show.

Angelina Jolie confesses she's excited about her quickly growing family with Brad Pitt, but was not expecting twins. Angelina told Entertainment Weekly, "It did shock us, and we jumped to six children quickly. But we like the challenge." E! Online reports the family is making some permanent roots in their new home of France. Eldest son Maddox has enrolled in a school close to their chateau and the whole family is meeting with a French tutor three times per week. That includes Brad who wants to learn the French word for "vasectomy."

Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross was behind the wheel Wednesday afternoon when her Lexus RX collided with another car, which, judging from pictures taken at the scene, sustained a significant amount of front-end damage. No injuries were reported and no police report was filed.

Consider this only a rumor for the time being. However, word has been rippling through the TV biz today that Rashida Jones (aka Karen Filippelli, presently of Utica, NY) may star in the upcoming NBC spinoff of The Office.
