Friday we found out the name of STAR Artist David Cook’s first post-Idol single – "Light On". Now David has given us the ability to sing along to the song once it comes out because today he released the lyrics. The chorus goes:
Try to leave a light on when I'm gone
Something I rely on to get home
One I can feel at night
A naked light, a fire to keep me warm
Try to leave a light on when I'm gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
And when it's late at night you can look inside
You won't feel so alone
He also told me he’s not worried about the inevitable comparisons to STAR Artist Daughtry once the album comes out, "I look at it this way -- I've been called way worse." I wouldn't mind being compared to someone who's sold 4,220,000 albums either.

In the last James Bond movie - Casino Royale - filmmakers got rid of the gadget-creating Q and the flirty secretary Moneypenny. Now, in the new one - Quantum of Solace - they've gotten rid of even more classic Bond staples: the lines "Bond, James Bond" and "Shaken, not stirred." Say it ain't so!

I’m glad this rumor isn’t true. Miley Cyrus wants her fans to know that she's not leaving Hannah Montana any time soon. Over the weekend, rumors were flying that Miley had been causing trouble on the Hannah Montana set by coming to work late and speaking openly of wanting to be fired so she could concentrate on her music career. But Miley tells me, "I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It's what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people."

How cool would it be to have STAR Artist OneRepublic perform "Apologize" in your living room? The group is currently running a contest to make that scenario a reality. The first-prize winner will win a private acoustic performance by the band in his or her own house. Second-prize is an autographed guitar, while the third-prize winner gets to load up on OneRepublic merchandise. 30 runners-up get autographed copies of OneReublic's album, "Dreaming Out Loud". To enter, visit OneRepublic.com.

STAR Artist Taylor Swift has realized her life’s goal – to get a song on Grey’s Anatomy. Tune into the season premiere of Grey’s this Thursday night and you’ll hear one of Taylor’s song – “White Horse.” She told me, "You should've seen tears streaming down my face when I got the phone call that they were going to use that song. I have never been that excited." She’s so excited she’s hyperventilating. Someone get her a doctor! Or a ridiculously good-looking actor who plays a doctor!

Gwyneth Paltrow likes to play the part of a cook - the Oscar winner has refused to hire a personal chef because she enjoys cooking for her husband, STAR Artist Coldplay singer Chris Martin, and their two kids. Gwyneth told me, "I cook all the meals for my house. I really love to cook." Gwyneth uses her Oscar statue as a potato masher.

Briefly:
STAR Artist Bon Jovi has been snubbed from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the first year of eligibility. Run-DMC, Metallica and a handful of other made it in.

STAR Artist The Plain White T’s have a new CD in stores today called “Big Bad World.”
