Patrick Swayze has been battling pancreatic cancer while working on his new A&E drama, The Beast but apparently he feels the real beast has been the tabloid media. He says they have been “consistently reporting lies and false information” like, that he’s on his death bed saying goodbye to family and friends. Which, he’s not. Not even close. "It's upsetting that the shoddy and reckless reporting from these publications cast a negative shadow on the positive and good fight I'm fighting. I knew I was in for the fight of my life. It's a battle, and so far, I've been winning. I'm one of the lucky few…”

Grammy nominations get announced tonight in a special on CBS in its first primetime television special. Usually this stuff happens in the early morning but the Grammy people got something special planned for you and I. STAR Artist Taylor Swift plus LL Cool J host The Grammy Nominations Concert Live with performances from Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, John Mayer, Christina Aguilera and The Foo Fighters. There’s over 100 Grammy Award categories – only 6 will be announced tonight at 8 p.m.

STAR Artist David Cook and a bunch of other big name artists are singing tonight not on the Grammy special. These others will be at Rockefeller Center for the annual lighting of their humongous Christmas Tree. David will be singing the John Lennon classic “Happy X-Mas (War is Over).” That’s 7 p.m. tonight on NBC.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie are international film stars and have tastebuds to match their global status. Brad says he and Jolie have sampled some of the most exotic foods in the world, including, "crickets in Cambodia, sea urchins in France, goat in Ethiopia and Rocky Mountain oysters (bull testicles) in Montana." Brad reveals that when they're not jetsetting around the globe for their meals, the couple's culinary options are limited to BBQ and cereal. So what does Brad Pitt do when entertaining A-list guests? The actor says he orders out.

The deal isn't final, but an NBC News executive says the network is close to naming chief White House correspondent David Gregory as the late Tim Russert’s replacement on Meet the Press.

Twilight actress Kristen Stewart will rock out in her new role. The Hollywood Reporter says Stewart will play Joan Jett in a movie about Jett's 1970s all-girl rock band The Runaways, whose hits included "Cherry Bomb." Jett will executive produce the project.
