Ever been haunted by something you did a long time ago? So has a Hollywood dad. Lindsay Lohan shouldn’t be surprised if some random woman walks up to her and says “Hey sis!” A former flame of Lindsay’s dad’s is claiming he fathered her teenage daughter. He has donated a DNA sample to prove this woman wrong. I sincerely hope he isn’t the father. The last thing this world needs is another Lohan.

Christian Bale is one hot Hollywood hunk, huh? His new Batman movie The Dark Knight is getting rave reviews by critics. As is the late Heath Ledger’s performance as The Joker. I’m not exaggerating. The reviews I’m hearing are saying Heath could earn an Oscar nomination. The Dark Knight is in theaters July 18th.

Ya gotta pack smart for airline travel! Some airlines are charging $25 just to pack a second bag. I wonder how many bags Jennifer Anniston brought with her when she went to London, England this past weekend to see her boy, STAR Artist John Mayer. According to People magazine, Jennifer was backstage, taking pictures of John while he sang. How cute. By the way to save money when flying, speak with a reservationist, book online, and pack light. Gotta save money any way we can now right?

Picking out the right pair of flip flops can be hard! Which pair matches which summer dress? Luckily Matthew McConaughey doesn’t have that problem. I think any color pair of flip flops matches his shirtless torso. A few weeks ago I mentioned Matthew offered a reward to anyone that could find his flip flops he lost on vacation. According to Star magazine, that wasn’t his only vacation mishap. He had to hitchhike with locals to his hotel since he was intoxicated, they carried him into his room, then left, leaving the door unlocked only to come back, steal $2,000 and his Blackberry phone. But they left him his abs, thank goodness.

To strike or not to strike? That is the question dogging Hollywood. But while filmmakers, TV producers, casts and crews are holding their collective breaths with the Screen Actors Guild contract due to expire at midnight tonight, union president Alan Rosenberg says there is no immediate work stoppage in the works.

Variety reports that Oscar-nominated actress Amy Ryan will return to NBC's The Office next season for at least five episodes. She made her first appearance as new HR rep Holly Flax in May's season finale.

Miley Cyrus is still upset about the scandalous Vanity Fair photo shoot but she has some seriously mature perspectives on it. She told us, “I was embarrassed, but every career thing that I do can't be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong. I think that just makes me even more relatable." But she adds, "It still hurts when I think about it."

STAR Artist Jesse McCartney may have wrote the song “Bleeding Love” for fellow STAR Artist Leona Lewis but he only recently actually met her. He says as soon as he walked up to her she gave him a big hug. He says quote, “She’s an absolute sweetheart.” I wonder if that hug was worth the millions it’s made her.

American Idols David Cook and David Archuleta appeared together on The View today. It gave the girls a chance to swoon and to ask David Archuleta’s dad about his stage-dad reputation. He said quote “I think they couldn't find anything bad to say about David, so I was just there, and I became kinda like a lightning rod." Both David’s performed, Archuleta did “Stand By Me”, Cook did his new single “Time of My Life”, all of this intentioned to hype up the American Idols Live Tour which is coming to the Resch Center. You can win tickets to the show all next week on STAR 98.

By now, most people know that STAR Artist Leona Lewis’ hit "Bleeding Love" was written by fellow STAR Artists Jesse McCartney and OneRepublic’s singer Ryan Tedder. But would the song have been such a big hit if Jesse had kept it for his own album, as he originally planned? Well you can judge for yourself, because AOL's pop music blog,
Popeater.com, has posted the original version of "Bleeding Love," sung by Jesse, which has been floating around the Internet. So far, in a poll on the website, visitors are saying, 53% to 47%, that Jesse should've kept the track for himself. I defintely think Leona did it better.

Michelle Williams, the late Heath Ledger’s baby’s mama, has denied all reports that she isn’t attending the premiere of The Dark Knight. This just a day after the New York Post ran a story claiming that because she had a beef with Ledger’s family and how they handled his estate, she wasn’t gonna go. She actually hasn’t said she is going but whatever. The Dark Knight opens July 18th.

Michael Scott a.k.a. Steve Carell can look forward to putting in more long, hard, late nights at Dunder-Mifflin Scranton. At least, that's what he said. The "he" in this case being cocreator, executive producer and star of the original British version of "The Office", Ricky Gervais, who revealed in a posting on his official website that Steve Carell has renewed his contract for the NBC hit for another 3 years. "We are also working on a spinoff series of the American 'Office'," he wrote, "but I can't tell you anything about that yet."

Every other day, there's a story about how STAR Artist Madonna and Guy Ritchie are getting divorced. But yesterday, we came across one with an actual exit strategy included. Britain's Daily Mail tabloid claims that Madonna and Guy are going to formally announce their split when Madonna's tour ends on November 29th. A rep for Madonna was quick to refute the story, telling yesterday's New York Daily News the reports of a split are "not true."

David Hasselhoff/the original Michael Knight in "Knight Rider" told us, "I didn't get a chance to see the [new] show until the final product, and it was clearly not what it could've been. It's going to miss the target a little bit. It's like having “Indiana Jones” without Indiana Jones." The show was taped without any of his input.

Chris and the guys will perform in Jakarta, Indonesia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Singapore and Manila in the Philippines all in the next 2 weeks. Daughtry has already proven that their music is popular in the U.S. -- so why do they think it has such international appeal? Chris says, "There’s nothing complex about it. It's really just simple songwriting. Lyrics that come from the heart, that people relate to everyday life situations." So when can we expect the next album? Chris says when the band finally gets off the road, they'll record it, but he's not sure when it's coming out.

More photographers have come forward to say they were involved in the melee that broke out last Saturday in Malibu when a group of surfers confronted the paparazzi and asked them to stop taking pictures of Matthew McConaughey riding the waves. That’s the 11th consecutive time The View hasn’t won. Rachel Ray won her first major award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show. And even Tyra Banks managed to land a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Informative Talk Show. In her acceptance speech Tyra said, "they said that The Tyra Banks Show would last two weeks and we are entering our fourth season this September.” No, no Tyra you misheard, we just hoped it would only last 2 weeks.

Speaking of Ellen, now that same sex marriages are legal in California, Ellen DeGeneres and Porta De Rossi can send out their save-the-date announcements. She said she and Porta have set a date for their wedding, although she wouldn't specify when or where they plan to tie the knot. Ellen is certainly pumped to get hitched. She said, "it is the dream wedding," although she also admitted planning it is quite stressful.

There's a reason Martha Stewart is a domestic diva. The BBC and several British newspapers report that the United Kingdom will not grant Stewart a visa to visit because of her conviction in America for lying about a stock sale back in 2004. To return the favor, US officials have now denied Boy George a visa, though I don’t quite think that’s a fair trade.

Batman thinks Batman is too serious. Adam West who played the caped crusader on the TV in the 60s thinks from the very small amount of the recent movies he’s seen, Batman is too quote “dark, gothic and sinister” and is quote “full of explosions”. What’s wrong with that?! He went on to say "KAPOW!", "BAM!" and "BIFF!" The newest movie, The Dark Knight starring Christian Bale and the late Heath Ledger, hits theaters on July 18th.

A couple of new movies hit the big screen today. Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway star in the TV-to-film version of Get Smart. And Mike Myers’ The Love Guru also debuts in theaters today. He plays the title character who’s hired to heal the broken heart of a star hockey player whose wife has left him for a rival player.

While American Idol winner and STAR Artist David Cook is on the road with the American Idols Live tour, he'll also be writing and recording his debut CD, and he's just gotten a nice offer of a collaboration from another STAR Artist. Last night in New York City, Goo Goo Dolls frontman Johnny Rzeznik told us that he's really hoping to collaborate with David on some songs. So why does the guy who wrote "Iris" want to write songs with the winner of a TV reality show? Johnny said, "'Cause he's real, he plays the guitar, he's got a cool voice, he seems like a regular guy, so...why not?"

The website says Archuleta will instead be home-schooled while he works on his album. High school? You mean David's not in fifth grade?

Matthew McConaughey’s surfing trip in Nicaragua earlier this month was a mixed bag. Matthew is expecting a child with his model-girlfriend and while he admits he had a good time on the trip, he absolutely denies putting the moves on any chicas. Britney Spears flew commercial. No private jet. No taking off when she wants to. None of that. She hopped a good ole-fashioned commercial flight to Louisiana to be by her sister’s side as Jamie is set to give birth any day now. In doing so she’ll miss out on visits with her own kids, sons Sean and Jayden.

Miley Cyrus’ dad Billy Ray Cyrus admitted on NBC's Today Show yesterday that he was unaware that his daughter would be photographed for Vanity Fair wrapped in a sheet, but he decided not to make a big deal about it after he found out. He said he had to leave the photo shoot before the controversial picture was taken due to a concert commitment. He said, "I was surprised when I saw it...Looking back, if I could have stayed I would have. But it felt like everything was in control. Her publicist was there...I didn't know they was gonna strip her down and wrap her in a blanket."

Britney Spears dodged a bullet. Well, really she dodged a foot lawsuit. She avoided charges brought upon her by a paparazzo who claimed she ran over his foot with her car. The prosecutors were able to review video evidence taken by other paparazzi on the scene and determined the only way his foot could have been in the position to be run over is if he had put it there. I don’t know who else would have put it there but whatever.

STAR Artist John Mayer must have enjoyed his fan cruise in the Bahamas in February because plans are in the works for Mayercraft Carrier 2. You can buy tickets for the cruise, this time it’s going to Cabo, at

Tom Hanks won’t be bumpin’ into the Pope anytime soon. Filming for The DaVinci Code prequel Angels & Demons is underway but has now been banned from filming in two churches by the Roman diocese. A Vatican spokesperson told us the church wouldn’t stop the filming of exterior shots but wouldn’t cooperate beyond that.

Loudmouthed comedian Joan Rivers was bounced from a UK television show today after she got a little too…relaxed with her language. Joan was unaware the show wasn’t on a delay and in the middle on an interview said producers would have to bleep what she was about to say, then went off on some rant about Russell Crowe. So since there was no delay there was also no bleep button. Producers asked her to leave the show during a commercial break. Always the comedian she said to reporters the incident reminded her of her wedding night which she was asked to leave during the middle of as well. Do I even need to make a joke here? Here's the clip. WARNING: This clip contains strong adult language and is not suitable for children.

The latest guest expert to benefit from time on Oprah Winfrey's TV couch is Dr. Mehmet C. Oz. The author and cardiologist, a favorite of Oprah fans for his no-frills talks about an array of health problems, will star in his own Dr. Oz series, set to debut in the fall of 2009. Winfrey has launched the TV careers of life coach Dr. Phil and culinary wiz Rachael Ray.

Christian Bale would like you to know that playing the Joker in their upcoming Batman flick, The Dark Knight, is NOT what killed Heath Ledger. He says, "It's not for me to tell anybody or to pretend to have insights beyond what I absolutely know, but my instincts are that the idea Heath was disturbed by playing The Joker is ridiculous. Heath was somebody who, like myself, acted for that immersion in a character. It's not an unusual thing. And from working with him and knowing him, I don't think that was unusual for him at all." The Dark Knight hits theaters July 18th.

So much for all that talk that Lindsay Lohan can't be trusted on a movie set. One of the producers of her upcoming flick, Labor Pains, says, "We were a little bit reluctant to work with her, but she's been amazing. We took the chance. It's good that we did. So far, so good." Labor Pains is about a woman who pretends she's pregnant to keep from getting fired. It's due out sometime next year.

I got a new shirt!

Look! I got a new t-shirt! I love The Office on NBC and I don't care who knows it! And I know the background was probably a real cheesy thing to do but you don't want to see the real background (the STAR 98 studio). It doesn't look very "clean" right now.

Hollywood special effects genius Stan Winston died Sunday. Maybe you know his name, maybe you don’t but you definitely know his work. He’s responsible for creating the look of Edward Scissorhands, the Alien Queen in Aliens, the metal robots in the Terminator movies, the T-Rex in Jurassic Park and the Predator in Predator. He was a winner of four Academy Awards. Former Terminator himself, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger told us, “The entertainment industry has lost a genius, and I lost one of my best friends.” Stan Winston was 62.

Lindsay Lohan doesn’t believe she’s worthy of an Emmy…yet. According to her rep, Lindsay is pulling out of contention for an award this year because her guest role on Ugly Betty was, “brief.” Lindsay’s rep also told us she presumes to wait which must mean for next year when she’ll be on six times as many episodes (6 episodes). I don’t get it, she’ll accept TWO Razzie awards but won’t even try for an Emmy. No matter how “brief” her success is, she should enjoy it while it lasts.

Megastar Oprah Winfrey was at Stanford yesterday to deliver a commencement speech. She told the grads to persevere through difficult times and that it’s important for people to grow and evolve as human beings and blah, blah, blah. You know what those broke college graduates really needed to hear? "You get a car! And YOU get a car! YOU ALL GET CARS!!" At least, that’s what I would have done.

Is the lead singer of STAR Artist Coldplay turning into a diva? He stormed out of an interview with BBC Radio 4 last week, saying he wasn't "enjoying" the line of questioning. According to the BBC, the interviewer asked Chris whether the title of the band's new CD, Viva La Vida, Or Death And All His Friends, was an example of their obsession with death. Chris responded, "I wouldn't agree with you at all there, no. I'd say you're journalistically twisting me into saying something I don't really mean." A few minutes later, Chris was asked about the lyrics of the band's hit single, "Viva La Vida," and Chris said he was, "not really enjoying this." Then he walked out of the studio. Their new album in question hits stores tomorrow.

STAR Artist Mariah Carey has released her second perfume, this one called Luscious Pink. What’s it smell like? It's described as a "floral melody as enveloping as Mariah's voice," with hints of bergamot, lily of the valley, peony, sandalwood, musk and the petals of Mariah's favorite flower, Tahitian Tiare. I don’t know what half of those things are but they sure sound like they smell good. Per bottle, Luscious Pink will set ya back $40.

There’s already too many music awards out there but the search website Yahoo! is handing out another, the Purple Award for artists whose songs have been played more than 10 million times through various branches of their website. STAR Artists Pink and Christina Aguilera will grab one as will Snow Patrol for “Chasing Cars”.

Good for them! STAR Artist John Mayer and Jennifer Anniston have gone public with their relationship. They went to a humanitarian event over the weekend with friends David Arquette and Courtney Cox.

NBC has spotted a potential replacement for ER once the medical drama concludes its 15-season run next year. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered a pilot for a new drama from ER producer John Wells titled LAPD. As you might guess, the show will center around a group of police officers in Los Angeles. LAPD could potentially succeed ER in its Thursday-night time slot...

Seven Tour de France titles only carries you so far if you're Lance Armstrong. According to the New York Post, Armstrong recently brought reported girlfriend Kate Hudson to Rao's Restaurant in New York City, which has a notoriously long waiting list. The couple walked in without a reservation and was told to wait with everyone else.

Tim Russert's autopsy results showed that the “Meet the Press” host died from a heart attack. His doctor told us, "Tim was known to have asymptomatic coronary artery disease, which resulted in hardening of his coronary arteries. A fresh clot ruptured in his left anterior descending coronary artery, causing the fatal heart attack. The autopsy also revealed that Tim had an enlarged heart.” Tim's son Luke appeared on The Today Show in a moving 15-minute interview:

It may have been a Father’s Day weekend but in Jennifer Garner’s life, the focus was all on her skills as a mother. A mother-aughter bonding day went awry for her after she locked her car keys in her Lexus SUV, along with her two-year-old daughter Violet. Don’t worry, Violet was eventually able to follow instructions on how to push the button to open the door and let her mommy in.

An unlikely reality show has decided to embark on a nationwide roadie. Top Chef: The Tour launches its 20-date trip this month. Talk about "rouxing" the day... Four "cheftestants" from the show will host interactive programs in each city, providing cooking demonstrations, meet and greets, food tastings and offering show secrets to the culinary fans in attendance. Look for it in Madison on August 27th.

Briefly:
A private memorial service was held on Saturday for the late Oscar-winning director Sydney Pollack, who died last month of cancer at the age of 73. Friends, family and acquaintances from the entertainment business were on hand for the service, the details of which were not publicly disclosed.

It seems like an odd pairing, but STAR Artist Natasha Bedingfield has been tapped as the opening act for the New Kids on the Block reunion tour.

STAR Artist Jesse McCartney actually helped write the song “Bleeding Love” for Leona Lewis with fellow STAR Artist Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. Jesse tells us, “bleeding love” is a non-corny way to say “I love you so much it hurts.”

BREAKING NEWS: Veteran NBC newsman Tim Russert, the longtime moderator of Meet the Press and host of The Tim Russert Show and a staple of the election season, has unexpectedly passed away after suffering a heart attack. He was 58 years old. According to colleague Tom Brokaw, Russert passed away after collapsing at work, at the Washington, D.C. news bureau of NBC. Russert was recording voiceovers for Sunday's Meet the Press at the time. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family: his wife, Vanity Fair writer Maureen Orth, and son, Luke. Tom Brokaw broke the news:

A couple of good, new movies hit theaters today. The do-over of 2003’s Hulk, this time starring Edward Norton, opens nationally today. The Incredible Hulk is rated PG-13. And M. Night Shyamalan’s first R-rated movie debuts in theaters today called The Happening. It stars Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel as a couple trying to escape an unexplained “happening” causing deaths across the country. I’m actually excited yet terrified to see this. According to some who have seen it and the director himself, the movie takes on taboos. The faint of heart should stay at home!

This Sunday is Father's Day, and STAR Artist Colbie Caillat has plenty of reason to be grateful to her dad for his support. As a Grammy-winning producer Colbie's dad Ken was able to give her some great advice that helped her launch her music career. Colbie says she took up guitar because her dad told her to learn an instrument, so she'd always be able to accompany herself and wouldn't have to rely on others to play for her. She says her dad also told her to write her own songs and maintain control over every aspect of her career. But despite that advice, Colbie says her dad wasn't sure at first that his little girl should try to make it in the big bad music industry. Colbie says, "He was just getting worried, like a dad. But now he's loving it."

More details have emerged about the tell-all memoir that STAR Artist Madonna’s brother Christopher is writing about her. It'll be called "Life With My Sister", and it'll hit bookshelves July 15th. Madonna's publicist told the Associated Press that Madonna didn't cooperate with her brother on the book, and says the two are no longer close. At one point, Madonna and her brother were pretty close; in fact, he designed and directed two of Madonna's biggest tours -- The Girlie Show and Blond Ambition. He was also the artistic director for her documentary Madonna: Truth Or Dare. Life With My Sister was co-written with Wendy Leigh, who's written what have been described as, quote, "salacious biographies" of JFK Jr., Princess Grace, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liza Minnelli.

American Idol winner and STAR Artist David Cook will perform at the 13th annual "Taste For A Cure" charity gala, which raises money for cancer research. As most fans know, David's brother Adam is battling brain cancer, so the cause is close to his heart. The event happens June 21st in Beverly Hills with host Jimmy Kimmel.

Angelina Jolie confessed to Entertainment Weekly that being pregnant has its advantages. She told the magazine, "It's great for the sex life. It just makes you a lot more creative. So you have fun, and as a woman you're just so round and full." Jolie has four children with Brad Pitt, and the couple is expecting twins sometime in the near future. When asked how she and Pitt plan to handle two more young children being added to the mix, Angelina said, "We really don't know. His mom and dad are on standby to come out and help. And fortunately we can hire help if we need it, but we're going to try as we usually do to balance it as well as we can."

Dr. Drew Pinsky issued an apology to Tom Cruise yesterday after the therapist raised questions about the actor's mental health. Pinsky's spokesperson said in a statement, "Dr. Drew meant no harm to Mr. Cruise and apologizes if his comments were hurtful." Pinsky had previously stated in Playboy magazine that Cruise's Scientology beliefs could stem from childhood "neglect." In response, Cruise's attorney called Dr. Drew a, "posturing flake" who "pretends to diagnose people he's never met." Good times.

Naomi Campbell has the best agent ever. Ever. When the drama queen fell into the arms of a woman on the streets of Capri while on vacation, Naomi’s agent supposedly denied reports of tipsiness to the British press, insisting, “Naomi was playing this trust game, where you fall into a friend’s arms.” I’m not sure I’m falling for your line about Naomi playing a game. Check out the picture.

STAR Artist Coldplay singer Chris Martin admits he still cannot deal with the fact that his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, used to be engaged to Brad Pitt. Despite having two children with Paltrow, her ex still plays on his mind, and drives him to make a success of his life. Chris told us, "If your wife went out with Brad Pitt, you'd want to prove yourself, you know what I mean?"

Not surprisingly a few STAR Artists made the annual Forbes’ Celebrity 100 List which ranks stars based on their earning power. Justin Timberlake grabbed the number 12 spot. Madonna’s at number 21. Bon Jovi’s at number 53 with Gwen Stefani at 63 and Alicia Keys a few spots back at number 65. Who’s number one? Who do you think? Oprah Winfrey tops the list for the second year in a row and for the fifth time in her career. Why? Because she raked in $275 million in the last year. Forbes' bases the rankings on things like earnings, web hits, number of magazine cover appearances, etc. Here's the full Top 10:
1. Oprah Winfrey, $275 million
2. Tiger Woods, $115 million
3. Angelina Jolie, $14 million
4. Beyonce Knowles, $80 million
5. David Beckham, $50 million
6. Johnny Depp, $72 million

Congrats to STAR Artist Timbaland and his fiancée who tied the knot on Tuesday in Virgina. Their rep confirmed to US Weekly they plan on having a more formal ceremony on the 22nd.

STAR Artist Taylor Swift is taking over MTV’s TRL next week – she’ll be guest hosting Monday through Thursday. Than the following Saturday she’ll star in an MTV special called Once Upon a Prom which follows her figuring out what lucky high school senior get to escort her to prom.

In the weeks leading up to his American Idol win, STAR Artist David Cook maintained that he wanted to win the competition because if he didn't want to, it would be unfair to all those people who voted for him. But in the new issue of Rolling Stone, David says, "I was never in it to win it, and that took some pressure off me. If I'd gotten caught up in all that, I would've had a coronary." However, David refused to bash Idol to Rolling Stone, saying the only things he wasn't thrilled about were the group numbers and that stupid matador outfit he had to wear in the Ford commercial.

Grey’s Anatomy star Kathering Heigl has decided to withdraw her name from consideration for an Emmy Award nomination this year, while seemingly taking a veiled swipe at her own show. She said in a statement, "I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention. In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials." Way to bite the hand that feeds, Katherine. We'll see how you feel when the writers push to kill you off the show.

Angelina Jolie confesses she's excited about her quickly growing family with Brad Pitt, but was not expecting twins. Angelina told Entertainment Weekly, "It did shock us, and we jumped to six children quickly. But we like the challenge." E! Online reports the family is making some permanent roots in their new home of France. Eldest son Maddox has enrolled in a school close to their chateau and the whole family is meeting with a French tutor three times per week. That includes Brad who wants to learn the French word for "vasectomy."

Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross was behind the wheel Wednesday afternoon when her Lexus RX collided with another car, which, judging from pictures taken at the scene, sustained a significant amount of front-end damage. No injuries were reported and no police report was filed.

Consider this only a rumor for the time being. However, word has been rippling through the TV biz today that Rashida Jones (aka Karen Filippelli, presently of Utica, NY) may star in the upcoming NBC spinoff of The Office.

American Idol winner and STAR Artist David Cook just can’t get enough of Hollywood. He went back last night to sing the "National Anthem" for the NBA Finals on ABC.

STAR Artist Maroon 5’s deluxe edition of their hit CD It Won’t Be Soon Before Long will come with a DVD packed featuring the band’s entire collection of music videos plus you’ll get 12 live performances and all their B-sides. That’ll hit stores July 8th.

STAR Artist Jordin Sparks and Natasha Beddingfield are among the performers at this year’s Macys 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. Look for that on NBC.

A couple weeks ago I told you about a postcard-sized, 800-word prequel of the Harry Potter series was going to go up for auction. Yesterday it was sold…for $48,000. That’s $60 per word. The prequel takes place 3 years before Harry is born and features characters like Sirius Black and Harry’s father. J.K. Rowling says she stands by her decision not to add to the 7-book series. By the way, the next Harry Potter movie comes out in 4 and a half months.

Time for your dailly Brangelina Nursery Update. Today we’re hearing from a source that the couple consulted a psychic to help determine the vibe of the nursery, and after all was said and done, Brad and Angelina decided on a more girly theme though we still don’t know the gender of the twins. The source also says the couple only spent $100,000 on the nursery, not $140,000 as previously reported. ‘Cause anything more than 100-grand would have been excessive...

Looks like all of STAR Artist Madonna’s secrets are going to come out. Her brother Christopher is penning a memoir all about the material girl. The publisher has ordered a monster first printing, over 350,000 copies. Life With My Sister is set to hit shelves on July 15th.

Tom Hanks won’t get in the way of love. When filming blocked a bride’s path to her church in Rome, Tom escorted the woman and her dad into the church. Imagine the breathless exchange at the altar: “Sorry I’m late, but I just touched Tom Hanks! Anyway, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Or whatever. He was cuter than I expected. Loud? I’m not talking loud. No, you shut up. I just met Tom Hanks!"

One of my favorite reality TV shows is Top Chef. I think a lot of it has to do with the idea that any time I watch it, I want to eat. Bravo execs are now trying to develop a spin-off called Top Chef Junior which would put teenagers’ cooking skills head-to-head. ‘Cause teens don’t have, or pretend to have, enough drama in their lives already…

If you’ve seen the Sex & the City movie, then you saw the book Carrie Bradshaw reads in bed with Big called "Love Letters of Great Men". Wanna buy it? Oooh, sorry ya can’t. It doesn’t exist. But what does exist is a book called "Love Letters of Great Men and Women: From the 18th Century to the Present Day". It’s currently #134 on Amazon.com’s Bestseller List. Click here to check out the book!

You oughta know that STAR Artist Alanis Morissette feels just fine about her ex-fiancé Ryan Reynolds’ engagement to actress Scarlett Johansson. Alanis told Newsweek magazine, "I'm really happy for him." Alanis' new CD, Flavors of Entanglement, is out today, and she told us that one song, called "Moratorium," is about how she was, "not emotionally ready to be married" anyway.

Actor Rupert Everett, best known for his role in My best Friend’s Wedding, is still trying to remove the foot from his mouth one day after calling British soldiers "wimps." While he was plugging his new movie he pointed out to reporters the difference between soldiers of Victorian times and today’s troops saying, “They are always whining about the dangers of being killed. Oh, my God, they are such wimps now." He apologized today. But actors apologized so much better back in the Victorian Age. I actually wouldn’t mind his foot remaining in his mouth for another month or two.

Actress/Playboy bunny/spontaneous stripper Pamela Anderson is auctioning off her car to benefit PETA. Well, not just any car. A 2000 Dodge Viper. Pam told us it’s dangerous for her to own a car like that because she’s a terrible driver. So would you buy a used car from Pamela Anderson? I wouldn’t buy a used anything from her!

FX has decided to give Courtney Cox-Arquette and her show Dirt the axe. It probably just needed more kisses between her and Jennifer Anniston. Well I guess Courtney was kind of relieved ‘cause now she can be a full-time mom or whatever you call looking after David Arquette.

Like most expectant parents, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are sprucing up their home for their new arrival. Unlike most expectant parents, they're spending more than what most people earn. The New York Daily News reports that the power couple recently plunked down 140 thousand dollars for their nursery in their LA home. That’s $10,000 for a one-of-a-kind crib, $8,000 for a gold-dipped baby bath tub and $122,000 in silver spoons shoved immediately in the twins mouths upon birth.

Children of the '80s, take note: There's something smurftastic brewing in Hollywood. Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation have scooped up the big-screen rights to a trilogy of movies starring the Smurfs. It’ll be a hybrid mix of live-action and computer animation. No release date has been set yet for the first flick.

24 star Kiefer Sutherland is set to tie the knot for a third time, with new girlfriend who apparently has really transformed him for the good.

Star of the upcoming scary flick The Happening Mark Wahlberg and his gal-pal are expecting their third child and Mark recently revealed to the Today show the reason behind the magic number of mini-Wahlbergs, “we’re having another little boy so I have my foursome now.” The little newbie will "tee off" life later this year. The Happening, M. Night Shyamalan’s first R-rated movie hits theaters on Friday, yes Friday the 13th. Check out the trailer:

Not everyone approves of Hollywood cougars, least of all their cubs. I’m going to try and explain this twisted dating situation. Hulk Hogan’s 48 year-old ex-wife and mother of his children Linda is dating a guy who’s 19. That’s 29 years younger. The guy, some blonde-haired beefy dude named Charlie actually went to school with the Hogans’ kids and is two years younger than their oldest kid Brooke. How does Brooke feel about her mom dating guys a few decades younger? “I’m totally freaked out.” Understatement of the month. She went on to tell us, "I personally don’t like it at all or condone it, but she’s my mom, so I have to show her support." That’s better than what Lindsay Lohan would say if she were in a similar situation. I’m guessing something along the lines of “Where’s my vodka?” Speaking of which...where's my vodka?

Actress Jessica Alba is officially no longer the hottest pregnant woman in Hollywood. I have proof! ‘Cause Jessica gave birth to a healthy baby girl this weekend named Honor Marie (pronounced: oh-nor). Congrats to her and her husband!

Former 90210 star Tori Spelling is picking up where Jessica Alba left off. Tori and her hubby waddled into an LA hospital this afternoon to have her deliver her new baby via C-section. I’ll have more details later.
9:17 P.M. UPDATE: A source confirms to STAR 98 that Tori and her husband Dean welcomed their second child into the world tonight - a healthy, 6 pound 8 ounce baby girl named Stella Doreen. The same source tells us Doreen is in honor of Dean's deceased mother and Stella "just 'cause they like it." Congrats to both of them!

When in doubt, make a computer-animated family comedy. Kung Fu Panda kicked some serious box office butt this weekend, debuting at the top spot and earning $60 million. The other new flick, Adam Sandler's You Don’t Mess With the Zohan nabbed the number two spot and the previous powerhouses of Indiana Jones and Sex & the City dropped to the three and four spots respectively.

American Idol winner and STAR Artist David Cook learned all about pandering last week. He played a couple of acoustic songs for the annual Wal-Mart Shareholders meeting. That’s right David, make nice with the people who will be selling your album. He played Collective Soul’s "The World I Know" and his first hit single, "Time of My Life".

STAR Artist The Plain White Tees tells us their new album is coming along and STAR listeners can expect it in stores September 12th. By the way, “Hey There Delilah” just became only the fourth song ever to receive 3 million PAID digital downloads.

Work on the new CD from STAR Artist U2 is in the home-stretch. The producer on the album says the band wants the album in stores this fall and this will be “one of the great, innovative records from U2.”

Patrick Swayze says he’s responding well to treatments on his pancreatic cancer, so much so he’ll be starring in a new A&E show called The Beast. He stars as an unorthodox FBI agent who’s under investigation by Internal Affairs. Patrick told us “I have searched for quite a long time to find a character that is this multi-layered, unpredictable and downright entertaining as well as a project this current and cutting-edged.” Look for The Beast on your TV set next year.

So how do A-list stars like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie pack up their stuff and move to France without having paparazzi go through their stuff? Easy. You hire A-list movers. Their like movers for normal people except they do things like deploy 4 or 5 decoy trucks, hire a moving nanny to keep A-list children entertained & under control, and take painstaking notes and pictures documenting where everything was and duplicate that positioning at the new home. Oh and sometimes they use cranes.

Brokeback Mountain apparently ain’t over ‘til the fat lady sings. Or ‘til the fat, gay cowboys sing. The controversial and Oscar winning movie is being turned into an opera. It’ll premiere in New York City in 2013.

June 4, 2008

It may be a while before we see new albums from STAR Artist Colbie Caillat, Elliot Yamin or the Plain White Tees but while we wait we can hear ‘em on new tracks on an album called Disneymania 6, in stores now. Colbie Caillat has redone The Little Mermaid’s “Kiss The Girl”.

Elliot Yamin did "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" from The Lion King.

And the Plain White Tees covered "When I See an Elephant Fly" from Dumbo.

STAR Artist Janet Jackson made a surprise appearance on ABC’s The View yesterday giving host Sherri Shepherd free tickets to her new tour. Apparently Sherri once slept outside to buy tickets to one of Janet’s shows. Now she won’t have to. Isn’t it nice to see celebrities giving other celebrities perks?

You can grab front-row tickets to STAR Artist Madonna’s new tour and help a great charity at the same time! Bid on the tickets at
LifeBeat.charitybuzz.com through the 11th and all proceeds go to LifeBeat which mobilizes resources to raise awareness and provide support to the AIDS community.

Though he knows his way around a guitar, you won’t see STAR Artist John Mayer playin’ any Guitar Hero anytime soon. John compares playing Guitar Hero to driving go-karts at an amusement park. Playing the guitar for real, he says, is like driving a Ferrari on the open road. Speaking of John and cars...Yesterday he got ticketed for not having either front or rear license plates on his SUV. The ticketing was actually covered on video.
Check it out here!

Actress Gina Gershon has had to deny having an affair with former President Bill Clinton. An article in Vanity Fair says Bill was visiting with her in California. The author of the article denied any insinuation that they had any kind of sexual relationship. Of course Bill didn’t get jiggy with Gina…she’s attractive!

One of the most unusual sights at last month’s Cannes Film Festival was boxer Mike Tyson promoting his own movie. It’s actually a documentary about him so it’ll be the first completely English movie to have to be done entirely with subtitles for American audiences!

Actress Gwenyth Paltrow already has two kids, Apple and Moses, but she says she could, quote, "force" herself to "do it one more time" because the result is so worth it. Her and her lead-singer-of-Coldplay husband are even open to adoption. Though she can’t browse the Third World for babies. Madonna and Angelina Jolie already have dibs on that.

When Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria showed up at a fashion awards gala in New York City Monday night, she was wearing a tight pink dress, accessorized with a metallic clutch, and what appeared to be a baby bump. Eva’s publicist made a key error. Instead of denying, she just refused to comment. If Eva is pregnant, it will give Jessica Alba some competition in the "hottest mom-to-be" rankings.

Congrats to X-Files star Gillian Anderson... she's pregnant! This will be her 3rd child and if you’re wondering if The X-Files is even still topical, the answer is yes. The second movie is in post-production. The first trailer can be seen right here!

Ever wanted to see what former wife of Charlie Sheen, Denise Richards goes through on a daily basis? Yeah, me neither. But if there’s nothing else on TV you can flip to Denise Richards: It’s Complicated on E!. Denise says she’ll use the show to set the record straight about all the random rumors that have spawned off her former marriage to Charlie. How riveting. Charlie and Denise are like the BORING version of Hillary and Obama.

With Brangelina and STAR Artist U2 currently living in the same neck of the woods, Southern France, the band has said the couple’s welcome to stop by. U2’s David "The Edge" Evans tells us “it's great that they're coming down to our neck of the woods, and they can borrow sugar from us anytime they want."

More on Brad Pitt...Brad took time out from his acting career and baby watch Monday to announce his first environmentally-friendly architecture project: a new five-star hotel and resort for a developer based in Dubai. Good, ‘cause we all go there so often. In announcing the project, Brad said, "whilst acting is my career, architecture is my passion.” Brad Pitt needs a second job? Wow. Well he does have approximately 600 children to feed. And who says "whilst"?!

Even more on Brangelina...Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt certainly don't need the money, but TMZ.com says the bidding war for pictures of their expected twins has already reached $15 million and will probably go even higher. Supposedly the two publications in the run for the pics are People and OK! magazines. No U.S. News and World Report? They must be saving their money for a Presidential candidate bikini spread.

It’s been all of 5 days since its release and Hollywood and the rest of the country are already abuzz with talk of a Sex and the City sequel. A Warner Brothers executive wouldn’t confirm if it’s in the works but told us, “it's the only female movie that's created a frenzy. To me, this is a cultural phenomenon." That’s Hollywood suit code for, “we made a TON of money. The next *3* movies are already written.”

It must be getting serious between Jennifer Aniston and STAR Artist John Mayer, they’re talking about getting matching tattoos! Jen wants to add a heart to the one she currently has on her stomach. Was the first one for Brad? John thinks they should both get the letter “J.” for their first names.

After months of negotiations, the standoff between The Simpsons voice cast and series producer is over. Back up the money truck! The cast reached a new four-year deal, paying top actors almost $400,000 per episode.

Briefly:
What kind of mother will STAR Artist Ashlee Simpson be? A good one, according to her sister. Jessica Simpson tells People magazine quote, "she'll be amazing, absolutely amazing." Well that's all the proof I need!

STAR Artist Mariah Carey has made the New York Post’s annual list of New York’s 50 most powerful women. Senator Hillary Clinton is #1. Mariah’s at #40. Where is the Post’s priorities?!

STAR Artist Justin Timberlake will present actor Mike Myers with the Legacy of Laughter Award Sunday at the TV Land Awards.

Looks like Kelsey Grammer’s next role will be that of a recovering patient. Kelsey’s publicist confirmed to us that Kelsey indeed suffered a mild heart attack while on vacation in Hawaii and is “resting comfortably” in a local hospital.

STAR Artist Colbie Caillat’s second big hit Realize, as I’ve mentioned before, is about when you have feelings for a really close friend. Turns out though, the story runs a little deeper. The co-writer of the song Jason Reeves had a roommate who was madly in love with Colbie and Colbie didn’t, well, realize it. Eventually he set them up and the two started dating though they had to temporarily split up with Colbie busy touring. But according to Colbie “we still talk everyday.”

The highly anticipated Sex and the City movie divided the genders at the box office this weekend. Seriously, it looks like the girl went to see Sex and the City, helping it take the number one spot with $55 million. And the guys saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull helping it take the number two spot with $46 million. Liv Tyler’s first venture into the horror world, The Strangers, debuted at the number 3 spot.

It was a confusing weekend in the world of Hollywood gossip. Friday night, a report on Entertainment Tonight’s homepage said Angelina Jolie had given birth to her twins. Then a British magazine said that was indeed true even going as far as to reveal the names of the twins as Marcheline and Amelie Jane. But then came the whirlwind of denials from the couple’s reps and other media outlets. We still don’t even know officially when Angelina is due. One source says July, the other August. None said June.

I settled in for what would turn out to be, in my opinion, a really boring and un-entertaining Mike Myers hosted 2008 MTV Movie Awards. Best Female Performance went to Ellen Page for Juno, Will Smith grabbed Best Male Performance for I Am Legend and Best Movie went to Transformers. It’s worth mentioning Best Summer Movie So Far went to Iron Man and Johnny Depp walked stylishly away with 2 polar-opposite awards – one for Best Villain, the other for Best Comedic Performance for Sweeney Todd and Pirates of the Caribbean respectively.

While we await confirmation either way on Angelina’s twin babies, I can officially tell you actor Jack Black from School of Rock and the new animated movie Kung Fu Panda is a new dad. His wife gave birth to their second child, a boy named Jack, about a week ago.

Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen and his fiancée tied the knot on Friday in a ceremony in front of 60 people. Half of which I’m sure were security guards to keep Denise Richards out.

If you spend $35 million to buy an estate in Beverly Hills, chances are you're going to do more than a backyard barbecue for a housewarming party. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes sure did. The couple hosted a lavish housewarming bash at their newly renovated mansion Saturday night for more than 500 guests, including Oprah Winfrey, Tobey Maguire, Ben Stiller, Jake Gyllenhaal, Eva Longoria, Dakota Fanning and STAR Artist Prince. Tom Cruise greeted guests at the front door. Katie Holmes waved from the dungeon- er…basement window.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has thrown a few temper tantrums and cell phones in her day, but now a new report from Britain's Sun newspaper hints at what may be the underlying reason behind all that anger – she’s going bald. According to a fashion photographer is started happening 15 years ago. She should stop throwing cell phone and start throwing empty bottles of Rogaine.

STAR Artist Leona Lewis may be looking a bit sexed up on
the new cover of Blender, but she's no bad girl in the making. In fact, Leona doesn’t smoke, drink or wear leather or diamonds. She tells us “when I was 18, I had a few glasses of a bubblegummy drink with a bit of alcohol, and it was gross, I’ve tasted champagne, which is gross. And I tasted wine, which I don’t like. I might be quite boring.” Boring, Ms. Lewis, has never looked so good.

Tom Cruise is apparently tired of being two inches shorter than his wife Katie Holmes. Star magazine has just published a photograph of the 5-foot, 7-inch actor wearing customized Nike sneakers with superthick soles that appear to give him at least an extra inch of height. A pal of Cruise tells the magazine, "Tom has always been touchy about his height. It doesn't help that he tends to marry women who are taller than he is."

STAR Artist John Mayer is stayin’ busy this summer! He just announced even more tour dates all the way into the final days of August. But for these new dates he’s replacing STAR Artist Colbie Caillat with OneRepublic as his opener.

Star of classic films like Caddyshack, Stripes and Groundhog Day Bill Murray will be married no longer. His wife has filed for divorce. This news actually broke a day or two ago but we’re learning now, for the first time, why his wife wants out. She’s claiming Bill physically abused her and told her last November that she was quote “lucky he didn’t kill her.” And she claims he’s a drunk and a pot head. Oh, and that he would travel overseas and not exactly be loyal to her. Take the names out of the story and it almost sounds like the Clintons are calling it quits!

STAR Artist David Cook’s win on American Idol was almost upstaged by the King of Pop. According to Britain’s Sun newspaper Michael Jackson was scheduled to appear on the finale but backed out at the last second. Apparently Jackson said quote “I can’t do it. Everyone will hate me.” And I’m guessing he went on to ask for David Archuleta’s phone number. Ya know…just to talk.

The reports that Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are engaged are untrue. The couple’s spokesperson told Ok! magazine no question was popped, no ring was placed on a finger and no summer ceremony plans were in the works. And that makes sense I guess. Harrison doesn’t wanna get down on one knee. He might not be able to get back up. Oy!

Former The View co-host Star Jones is back on the market but according to a reporter with E! Online witnesses described her as a nasty drunk at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. And then she got all annoyed because no one knew who she was. Well Star, don’t be so down on yourself, at the very least I’m sure the caterer recognized ya.

Briefly:
STAR Artist David Cook’s first single “Time of My Life” is the number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart thanks to 236 thousand downloads on iTunes.

STAR Artist Gavin DeGraw has just announced some more tour dates. He’ll be coming as close by as Minneapolis and also Joliet, Illinois.

STAR Artist 3 Doors Down had to postpone all of their European tour dates with no explanation for why. They promise to make good on all the shows.

3 of the super-stylish sweaters worn by Bill Cosby in his run on The Cosby Show are going to be auctioned off for charity. Starting bid…for ONE sweater? $5,000.

This past weekend I told you STAR Artist Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler checked himself into rehab. But we’re finding out now it’s not for any kind of substance abuse but to recover from physical injuries he got on account of performing so much.
