A couple of new movies hit the big screen today. Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway star in the TV-to-film version of Get Smart. Carell has promised he’s not doing an impression of the man who made Maxwell Smart a television classic but promises the movie will deliver on its own merit. And Mike Myers’ The Love Guru also debuts in theaters today. He plays the title character who’s hired to heal the broken heart of a star hockey player whose wife has left him for a rival player.

While American Idol winner and STAR Artist David Cook is on the road with the American Idols Live tour, he'll also be writing and recording his debut CD, and he's just gotten a nice offer of a collaboration from another STAR Artist. Last night in New York City, Goo Goo Dolls frontman Johnny Rzeznik told us that he's really hoping to collaborate with David on some songs. So why does the guy who wrote "Iris" want to write songs with the winner of a TV reality show? Johnny said, "'Cause he's real, he plays the guitar, he's got a cool voice, he seems like a regular guy, so...why not?"

STAR Artist Fergie has always talked openly about her relationship with actor Josh Duhamel, but now that the two are engaged, she's zipped her lips. When pressed about her wedding plans recently, Fergie told People magazine, "I can't talk about it. I know I have a big mouth, but I can't say. That's one thing that I have to hold private."

Sesame Street kicks off its 39th season this August with a lineup of guest stars that are brought to you by the letters H-O-T. Jessica Alba, Heidi Klum, David Beckham, Jenny McCarthy, Neil Patrick Harris and NFL star & Dancing With the Stars runner-up Jason Taylor are some of the celebs scheduled to appear. NBC's Brian Williams is also signed up to stop by and teach kids about the news. The new season of Sesame Street will also introduce the show's first Indian-American character, Leela, who will work at the street's new Laundromat. The new season debuts August 11th.

STAR Artist Gavin DeGraw will kick off a headlining summer tour June 27th in Louisville, Kentucky. Gavin did some shows earlier this year, but this is his first full-fledged tour in support of his self-titled second CD, which has spun off the hit "In Love With A Girl." Gavin's opening acts on the tour will include singer-songwriters Marie Digby and Landon Pigg. You can head down to Six Flags Great America July 13th to see him live!

Naomi Campbell pleaded guilty today to assaulting two police officers after causing a stink aboard a British Airways flight at London's Heathrow Airport in April. But she managed to avoid the maximum six-month jail term. Instead she was sentenced to 200 hours of community service for the air-rage ruckus, fined $4,600 and ordered to pay $400 to each of the police officers she attacked and $300 to the captain of the flight.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe may soon have the firmest butt in show business. He attended the Tony Awards in New York City this past Sunday and was seen leaving with one of the more unusual freebies stars get at those events, a butt-toning machine. Radcliffe's butt is fine. It's his wallet that's bulging.
